Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Habor is proudly exhibiting four prominent painters of the “academy,” an in-jest, self-named East End group of artists. The artist personality is shown through the art work showcased in the exhibition.
Artist Thomas Condon divides his time between New York City and East Hampton, after having retired from years in publishing. His recent work has been focused on the landscape of the Hamptons, as well as urban landscape.
Pingree Louchheim’s love for Earth’s creators is evident in her owl series, “Snowy Owl,” “Barn Owl,” and “Long Eared Owl” become friends.
Joan Tripp has once again been inspired outer space, she was excited and moved by the images of the Hubble Space Telescope. Capturing the gaseous, ephemeral, celestial delicacy and lightness of the nebulae in her artwork which also showcases local Hamptons landscapes.
Richard Udice’ favors landscapes painted in oils his use of muted palette infuses mysterious tones which exhibits his somewhat impressionistic style.
