Southampton Hospital Foundation President Darren Farlow toasted the Quarter Backers. Annual Spring Gala celebrating the East End Disability Associates at Giorgio's was inspiring. The Southampton Cultural Center (SCC) hosted a Global Birthday Party. Friends from all over came to Bay Street Theatre to remember Roy Scheider. The 70th Annual Guild Hall Members Exhibition II opened in East Hampton. We also have dish on some hot NYC happenings.

The on again off again rains of last week played havoc with everyone’s outdoor schedule of gardening and getting ready for summer but at least there were some fabulous, spirited fetes that no amount of rain could dampen.

The weekend may have started off soggy but that didn’t stop party goers in the Hamptons. I stopped by Tide Runners in Hampton Bays for its opening day and Cyril’s Fish House in Amagansett. La Superica was packed on Monday in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. The season hasn’t officially started but we already have too many events to keep track of in the Hamptons.
