
Duryea’s Orient Point Opens for the 2025 Season
Duryea’s Orient Point will open for their sixth season on Friday, May 16th. The waterfront restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The Mediterranean themed seafood centric menu features several of Duryea’s signature dishes such as the lobster cobb salad, lobster roll, tuna tartar and fresh crudité. In addition, Mediterranean style dishes are also offered such as: Mediterranean spreads; Domata salad with vine-ripened tomato, crumbled feta, red onion and red wine vinegar; Falafel Gyro; and 3 ½ lb. red snapper with Greek-Thai salad & flat bread. Some of the new dishes for 2025 season are as follows:
Greek Salad Carpaccio
Whipped feta cheese, sliced tomato, cucumber, mini peppers, kalamata olives, red onions, fresh herbs, and capers with oregano vinaigrette
White ceviche (raw bar item)
Octopus, shrimp, scallops, coconut milk, lime, grapefruit, peppers, onions fresh herbs
Whole Grilled Octopus
Piperade, confit potato, aioli
20 oz Grilled Skirt Steak
Whipped tahini, marinated grilled vegetables, Greek chimichurri and fresh herbs
Duryea’s Beach Club will open June 21st. The Beach Club located in front of the restaurant overlooking Gardiner’s Bay offers chic seating with cushioned lounges and Mediterranean-style umbrellas and canopies. A 1966 Holiday Rambler trailer offers a raw bar and asado grill menu as well and wine, beer and soft drinks. There is a $65 minimum per person at lounge tables. DJs spin on mellow world beats on weekends.
Duryea’s Orient Point offers several transient boat slips at the marina accommodating up to 75-foot vessels available on a first come first served basis. Duryea’s Orient Point is also available for private parties both large and small. Duryea’s Orient Point will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday through May. Hours will expand in June to six days closed Tuesdays.
