DESCRIPTION:A new specialized summer program is coming to Southampton this 
 July\, offering local youth a unique opportunity to experience science and
 &nbsp\;art in a highly personalized setting on a stunning historic propert
 y. The&nbsp\;Children’s Natural History &amp\; Art Program&nbsp\;will ru
 n from&nbsp\;July 20–24\, 2026\, operating daily morning sessions from&n
 bsp\;9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.\n\nDesigned specifically for children ages&nbsp\
 ;9 to 12\, this innovative program bridges the gap between environmental s
 cience and creative expression. Participants will serve as both field scie
 ntists and studio artists\, using the unique natural history of&nbsp\;Meco
 x Bay&nbsp\;as their core inspiration.\n\nThroughout the week-long program
 \, students will engage in hands-on ecological exploration\, including tes
 ting local water quality and studying native aquatic insects. After examin
 ing real insect anatomy and inventing their own imaginary wetland creature
