 \nBorn in Bayamón\, Puerto Rico\, Edsel Gomez is a Grammy-nominated piani
 st\, composer\, and arranger whose work spans jazz\, Latin jazz\, and glob
 al music traditions. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his album Cub
 ist Music (Zoho Music\, 2006) and arranged and directed Dee Dee Bridgewate
 r's Grammy-winning recording Eleanora Fagan (1915–1959): To Billie with 
 Love from Dee Dee Bridgewater.\n\nOver his career Gomez has worked with Ja
 ck DeJohnette\, Don Byron\, Brian Lynch\, and Eddie Palmieri\, and has per
 formed internationally across jazz and world music festivals. His music dr
 aws deeply on his Puerto Rican roots while embracing the full breadth of t
 he jazz tradition and contemporary improvisation.\n\nThis performance at t
 he Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor brings Gomez's quartet to one of the East
