 , climbing trees\, digging in the dirt\, and exploring the world around th
 em. But\, along with all that magic\, often comes bug bites\, bee stings\,
  and even itchy skin.In this hands-on class for families and young childre
 n\, Herbalist Christina Winters of Wych’s Bloom will teach participants 
 how to make a soothing summer salve using a powerful medicinal plant growi
 ng all around us — one most people walk past every day without realizing
  its incredible ability to calm irritated skin and support the body after 
 bites and stings. Families will also learn about a few easy-to-recognize m
 edicinal plants commonly found on the East End that have long been used fo
 r first aid.Families will discover how common backyard and trail-side plan
 ts can become part of a simple summer first-aid kit\, then create and take
  home their own herbal salve perfect for outdoor adventures.​**In additi
