 Library’s Long Island Collection will present “The Revolution in the H
 amptons\,” a special pop-up exhibit on view from July 8 – July 11\, 20
 26.\n\nABOUT THE EXHIBIT | &nbsp\;This exhibit will focus on the events th
 at happened in the Hamptons during the American Revolution and British occ
 upation\, along with the experiences of local residents during the war\, i
 ncluding those who fled to Connecticut. The exhibit will feature letters a
 nd muster rolls\, which provide names of those who served in the war\, alo
 ng with information about Meigs' Raid on Sag Harbor. The wreck of the HMS 
 Culloden\, and information about the British Naval presence in local water
 s will also be included.&nbsp\; Visitors can expect to see original docume
 nts and letters from the Long Island Collection's holdings.\n\nMORE INFO |
  The pop-up exhibit will be on display in The Long Island Collection at th
 e East Hampton Library from 4 – 7 pm on Wednesday\, July 8 and will be v
 iewable through Saturday\, July 11. The community is welcome to drop-in an
 d interact with Long Island Collection staff\, who will be on hand to shar
 e information and answer questions about the items on view. Free. No regis
