 ar reenactors. Members of the Third New York Regiment\, Long Island’s pr
 emier reenactment group\, will be encamped on the museum grounds and condu
 ct demonstrations of drill and musket firing throughout the day. This 18th
  Century encampment\, including canvas dining fly\, troop tents and office
 r’s quarters\, Continental Army soldiers\, their wives\, and other camp 
 followers dressed in period clothing will transport visitors back centurie
 s for an experience not to be missed.
