Asia Lee To Be Honored At 18th Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon

The American Heart Association will host its 18th Annual Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Wednesday, February 27. The afternoon will celebrate honoree Asia Lee. As this year’s Humanitarian Honoree, Lee has made a commitment to support and create awareness about heart disease and stroke, especially as it pertains to women, and is proud supporter of the Go Red for Women Campaign.

“I am very honored and proud to have been chosen as the 2019 Humanitarian Honoree of the American Heart Association’s Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon” remarked Lee.

The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Luncheon is attended by both women and men from business, health, education, local and state government.

Go Red For Women was born fifteen years ago as a campaign to raise awareness among women about a great health threat – heart disease. Slowly, the campaign grew into a movement – that continues to bring women together from all over the world. Go Red For Women provides a platform for women and their families to lead healthier lives, and drive collective action for community transformation. This campaign is about providing women with opportunities to prioritize and take charge of their own health, building communities that support and provide access to healthy choices, demanding equal access to healthcare for all women and their families, and increasing women in STEM in upcoming generations.

Lee is a consultant is at Altucell Biotech Therapeutic Company, which works to treat autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. Lee is a highly respected artist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and marketing professional. She dedicates her creative, communication and people skills to provide the highest-level work for the communities, organizations and individuals she serves. Lee has committed her time and talent to a wide array of local, regional and national charitable causes and has raised much needed funds and awareness.

Her artwork is owned and displayed by collectors, museums and galleries nationally and internationally. She is best known for her unique ability to capture a rare moment of nature and the extraordinary beauty of everyday life. Lee holds regularly scheduled exhibitions of her photograph artwork and has done many corporate and non-profit promotions of her artwork.
