Have a killer Halloween costume that is bound to be the best at any ghoulish gathering? Here’s where to rock it and maybe even win some cash.
A Boos & Booze Happy Hour will take place at Hamptons Farms (412 Montauk Highway, East Quogue, hamptonsfarms.com) on Friday, October 26 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Attendees that come in their favorite costume or don Halloween props will be treated to a complimentary Boo Brew. There will also be tricks, prizes, live music, and more.
Indian Wells Tavern’s (117 Main Street, Amagansett, www.indianwellstavern.com) Halloween Party – with a DJ set and prizes – will take place on Friday, October 26 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Those that earn the title of best female and male costumes will win a $100 gift card redeemable at both Indian Wells Tavern and Bostwicks Chowder House. There will also be Tavern gift baskets bestowed to best couple, best group, scariest, funniest and most original costumes.
The Springs Tavern (15 Fort Pond Boulevard, East Hampton, www.thespringstavern.com) will host a Halloween Party on Friday, October 26 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. DJ Chile and DJ Matty Nice are spinning and there will be a $100 gift certificate up for grabs – for the person awarded best costume. Best male and female costume will be honored with a $50 gift card, and there will also be Montauk Brewing Company giveaways for best couple, best group, scariest, funniest and most original costumes.
Long Island Aquarium’s (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.longislandaquarium.com) annual Halloween Masquerade Ball will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. The evening will include an open bar, DJ, entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, buffet stations, and prizes for the best costume and masquerade attire.
Solé East (90 Second House Road, Montauk, www.soleeast.com) will close out its 2018 season with a ghoulish gathering on Saturday, October 27, starting at 8 p.m. The soiree will include free bar food, drink specials and music from a DJ. Those that don a Halloween costume will have the chance to win a weekend stay at Solé.
The Clubhouse (174 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton, www.ehitclubhouse.com) will host its inaugural Halloween Costume Bash on Saturday, October 27 at 8 p.m. The evening will include music from a DJ, a special appearance from 101.7 The Beach, and a costume contest with a $500 gift card grand prize.
Roses Grove’s 4th Annual Halloween Bash, presented by Conscience Point Promotions and Roses Grove Band, at 230 Elm (230 Elm Street, Southampton, www.facebook.com) will feature sets from Roses Grove and Earthreal, artwork by Lutha-Leahy Miller, psychic readings, tricks, treats, a costume contest, and more. The gathering will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Heart and Soul is headlining the Halloween Party at Oakland’s Restaurant (365 Dune Road, Hampton Bays, www.oaklandsrestaurant.net) on Saturday, October 27. Doors open at 9 p.m. and there will be a free buffet and prizes.
The Mill Roadhouse (142 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach, themillroadhouse.com) will hold a spooky, dance filled Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 27 at 9 p.m. There will be music from a DJ all night and the crowd will vote on the evening’s best costume – with the winner walking away with a spectacular prize.
As per usual, Hello Brooklyn is taking center stage at Stephen Talkhouse’s (161 Main Street, Amagansett, stephentalkhouse.com) annual Halloween Party, which will take place on Saturday, October 27, starting at 10 p.m.
The annual “Rowdyween” extravaganza at Rowdy Hall (10 Main St. in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, www.rowdyhall.com) will be held on Wednesday, October 31 from 7:30 p.m. until the “witching” hour. There will be music from Little Head Thinks and $500 in cash up for grabs for those that don the most impressive costumes.
