For their fall 2018 campaign, Naked Cashmere enlisted models Romee Strijd, Jasmine Tooks, Blanca Padilla and Noel Berry who were shot by photographer David Lipman at various locations throughout Montauk and Amagansett.
We caught up with Strijd, a Victoria Secret Angel who has also appeared in campaigns for Carolina Herrera, Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan, Stradivarius, Giuseppe Zanotti, and H&M, to learn more:
Is this your first photo shoot in the Hamptons?
RS: No. I’ve shot in the Hamptons before. I always love to come out here.
When you’re out in the Hamptons, what are some of your favorite things to do?
RS: My favorite things to do is spend a weekend here. It’s more chill than the City. The City’s always going and out here it’s more relaxed so I like to have brunch, take a boat out, bring my bicycle out, get groceries, go to fresh farmers markets and then cook at the house. It’s just more relaxed.
What’s your process for getting ready for a shoot like this?
RS: Go to bed early and drink a lot of water the day before.
Which items are you most looking forward to wearing this fall?
RS: I love everything actually because it’s so soft and so comfortable. I love the coats because it’s a coat you can wear all the time and it matches with everything.
Have you ever worked with David before?
RS: It’s my first time working with David and he’s super relaxed and he really knows what he wants to shoot and I like that. When someone knows what they want it really helps keep the energy going and he’s really relaxed.

Tell me a little bit about how you got into modeling.
RS: I got scouted when I was 15-years-old when I was shopping with my mom in Amsterdam. Someone asked if I wanted to become a model. At first, I said no. But, later on, I was interested and got in touch with the woman that scouted me in Amsterdam.
What moments from your career stand out?
RS: The first time I went to New York. I was blown away by the City.
What attracted you to Naked Cashmere?
RS: I love their photos; they’re so pure and natural. It’s the energy around the brand and I can feel it. It’s from a family and they have really great energy. All the clothes are so soft. They have their special Love line for breast cancer awareness and I think it’s such a great cause. You can feel there’s a lot of love in this brand.
