Tarot Tauk Tarotscopes – Capricorn Season

Diane Ferraroby Diane Ferraro
in Entertainment, Trending
Home Entertainment

Welcome to the monthly Tarotscope series by Diane Ferraro of Tarot Tauk. Diane has randomly pulled a Tarot card for each zodiacal sign, blending hints of astrology and divination guidance from the Tarot to create a personalized outlook for Capricorn season. You are encouraged to read your Tarotscope for your sun sign, moon sign and rising sign to get a full breadth of insight for your unique experience. If you don’t know your moon or rising sign, reading the Tarotscope for your sun sign will certainly suffice. If you’d like to learn more about your natal chart, feel free to reach out to Diane and request a consultation. May the cards bring you joy, and clarity and help you to feel supported and seen.

Aries: March 20 – April 19

The Sun

As the baby of the zodiac, Aries, The Sun card is calling you into your most authentic version of yourself. The Sun wants you to shine brightly and as a fire sign, you have no qualms doing so. Your ruling planet Mars has a chip on its shoulder whenever someone tries to put baby in a corner. Rightly so: your cardinal nature is a leader first and foremost. During Capricorn season, which highlights another fellow cardinal sign, do your best to step fully into your biggest and brightest way of being. Life is inherently confronting because we are constantly invited to stretch beyond our comfort level. When we kick and scream and avert inevitable growing pains, we’re also backing away from progress. The more you retreat to the shadows, the more we’re all robbed of your sparkle and spunk. Let’s have the time of our lives this Capricorn season and always, shall we?

Taurus: April 20 – May 20

The Emperor

Sweet, gentle Taurus, your Tarot ally during Capricorn season is The Emperor. This card invites you to loosen your grip just a tad on the way you think things are supposed to be and rather pivot and shift as necessary so you can take up sacred space with your beautiful, endearing spirit. Ships are safe in harbor though that’s not what ships are built for. You are the fixed Earth sign of the zodiac so what does this bull know about water? Rocky waters and unpredictable waves are not inherently your thing, but isn’t that exactly what you’ve been navigating this past year given the eclipses highlighted your sign (along with Scorpio) in 2022? After such a tumultuous year, it’s understandable that you’d rather not rock the boat during this last hoorah of the calendar year. If there’s anything that 2022 taught us, Taurus, and if there’s anything that The Emperor card teaches us, it’s that we must renounce what’s not working and take ourselves by the horns and do the thing. Capricorn season is ruled by a fellow Earth sign and beckons you to come home to the safety of yourself whenever the discomfort of change shakes the foundation beneath your sturdy hooves. You can do this. You’ve always done this.

Gemini: May 21 – June 20

Princess of Pentacles

Wondertwin powers, activate! You’re starting something new this Capricorn season, Gemini, and the Princess of Pentacles reminds you that it’s going to take your whole being’s buy-in to make it happen. You have a knack for compartmentalizing and multi-tasking and by all means, keep up the good work. It’s just that this new endeavor requires your entire presence to succeed. We need 100% mental buy-in from you, airy and mutable Gemini, and if that means you need to beg, steal or borrow intellectual bandwidth, then you have carte blanch to investigate, infer and yes even interrogate the vast realm of ideas that are like constant clouds in your ever-reaching sky. Capricorn season implores us to accomplish our goals, and while those clouds provide adequate idyllic coverage, we need them to rain down reality and make manifest the material circumstances you want to create. This could be a new job, a new educational path and an even more aligned way of caring for yourself. We’re not talking New Year’s resolutions necessarily, but more so All Year dedications. Find your focus, and use your words.

Cancer: June 21 – July 21

King of Cups

Can you hear me clapping from all the way over here, Cancer? Of all cards, the King of Cups– the master of the emotional suit–has risen from the waves like Venus from her shell for You. Not a moment too soon, as you could use a boost of “Everything’s going to be ok.” Now the real ‘tauk’: I’d love to share that platitude, though you inherently know as the zodiac’s most sensitive sign, it’s not that everything is going to be ok but more so, “You are going to be ok.” You, yes you, Cancer. You’ve got this. As the cardinal member of the water signs, you’re a leader in Love with a capital “L.” Not small “love,” with its personal affronts and tendency to internalize and thus self-minimize, but with the mastery of “Love” with a capital “L.”: Love as a state of being, Love as a devotion, Love as a manifesto, Love as a communal responsibility. Rewrite your story until you’re the hero of your own journey this Capricorn season and bask in the camaraderie of your fellow Capi cardinal sign. Leaders gonna lead the charge, and you’re called to the front lines of Self Love, all caps, all the time. Make a splash. The water’s fine.

Leo: July 22 – August 22

Five of Cups

Good grief, Leo, preening is your thing though aren’t you tired of licking (and reopening) the wounds that could have healed if you’d only let them be? Your fiery nature has a tendency to fixate on the one thing (or two or three things) that’s wounded you, and it ignites in you a deep desire to be healed. The Five of Cups is your card this Capricorn season, and the zodiac’s most disciplined sign Capricorn challenges you to redirect your obsession attention to that which you have agency over rather than pinning for something (or someone) who doesn’t recognize majesty. With every fiber of your beautiful being, know your inherent worth. Grief serves a divine purpose as it reminds us of our capacity for love. This may be the time to fully process emotions around loss, and at the start of this summary of what Capricorn season has in store for you, it’s grief that needs your attention and unadulterated devotion. Stay present with the feelings until they have cleansed you and then make room for emotional take off: beneath the sting of the thorn in your paw is your sovereign self, ready to feel safe and seen again in your reign and run of the kingdom.

Virgo: August 23 – September 21

Eight of Swords

Let’s cut to the chase, Virgo: indecision drives you mad and your card for Capricorn season is the Eight of Swords–rejoice in this perfect invitation to cut the ties that bind and move forward with the decisiveness and conviction you’re famous for. Whatever it is that’s been hanging you up and out to dry, the jig is up. Analysis paralysis had you feeling as if you’re hands have been tied. It’s all been a mind game: those are flimsy strings seemingly holding you motionless. You have more agency than you think and your fellow earth sign Capricorn ushers in personal empowerment this season. We often forget we have the key to the freedom we so dearly desire. We also often forget we do not need to ask permission to live our fullest expression of ourselves. As the mutable earth sign of the zodiac, your keen adaptability and innate talent in course correction support your need to get back into the driver’s seat of your own life. Never forget who you are, where you came from and what you’re capable of.

Libra: September 23 – October 22

Princess of Cups

It’s a balancing act between what your heart desires and what your mind deems appropriate, Libra. As the cardinal air sign, calling in the Princess of Cups as your card this Capricorn season feels like a get-out-of-emotional-jail-free card. Guess what: you don’t have to choose between your heart and your head. They each have a rightful place at the table and come with their own wisdom, guidance and grace. The Princess of the suit of water invites your airy nature to relinquish the sword of mental rigidity and trust the flow and ever-changing landscape of your feelings. When the waters get rough, you’ll know what to do, as you’ve always had the good sense to navigate with sensibility and serene intelligent aptitude to find the happy albeit friction-wrought medium. This Capricorn season beckons you to surrender to the watery depths of your heart. I know you’ll feel safest tethered to something solid, so by all means, also anchor into the clear focus of the mindful mountaintop to make for a most aspiring journey. Belay away.

Scorpio: October 23 – November 22

Judgment

The moment of truth has arrived, Scorpio. As a sign that deeply values authenticity and trust and the ruler of the eighth house in astrology, we’d be hard-pressed to find anyone as realistically aware of the hard realities of the human condition. When the going gets tough, the tough get going, and Judgment is your celebration of all you’ve been waiting for: a clear vision on how to unapologetically best live this one precious life, with all of its foibles and folly. This Capricorn season bolsters the gritty and tenacious realist in you. Just two doors down the zodiacal wheelhouse, your buddy the Earth goat wants to see you rise and shine at the zenith, while your watery and mysterious nature would typically be more comfortable darting the spotlight. All eyes are on you and your slinky sensuality this season, so wrap your feather boa around your stinger, grab the mic and sing this life with your one precious voice. Not everyone’s a critic, so don’t be shy. Get your act together before the curtain goes down.

Sagittarius: November 22 – December 20

Two of Wands

The Two of Wands is the ideal companion to your adventurous nature, Sagittarius. There is not a single fence that can pen you in, and this Capricorn season brings fiery excitement to complement your fire element. If you’ve been hankering to stir things up, this card reminds you to trust your ineffable spirit which more often than not leads you down the path less traveled. Embarking on the hero’s journey entails leaving the safety of familiar surroundings. The path ahead does not promise comfort, though it generally invites profound personal growth. This could indicate a physical journey as well as an emotional or spiritual adventure, keeping in mind that we do not need to leave the comfort of our own homes in order to expand our philosophical horizons. If you’ve been looking for a sign to get up and go, this could be it. Keep your eyes peeled for interesting new pursuits including learning a new language or instrument, picking up a new skill set or studying a new area of interest. The world is your oyster and your intent gaze is locked and loaded on the bullseye.

Capricorn: December 21 – January 19

The Magician

Happy birthday season, Capi! Our zodiacal wheel’s cardinal Earth sign is celebrating this season with The Magician–the card that reminds us to use all our tools. Since Capricorn’s mantra is “I Use,” you’re in good hands during your birthday season with this Major Arcana to remind you that you’ve got what it takes to make it, baby. Even the G.O.A.T. of the zodiac sometimes needs a loving nudge to bring us back into our personal sense of empowerment. Since your ruling planet Saturn moved out of your sign at the end of 2020, you’ve been feeling a bit of relief around difficult circumstances. Though nothing quite tested your tenacity more than disciplinary Saturn sitting in your lap from 2017 until December 2020, am I right? Now that Saturn is hanging out in your next-door neighbor Aquarius’s house, you’ve been able to catch your breath, circle your wagons and implement the lessons learned while the discipline daddy of the planets came to call on you. And what might those lessons be? That you already have everything you need. That you were born with all the right stuff. And that you’re the magic maker making rings around the world.

Aquarius: January 20 – February 17

Nine of Swords

In the aforementioned Capricorn’s Tarotscope, we touched on how challenging life can be when Saturn sits in your sign. Dear Aquarius, the discipline daddy of all planets has been poking around your house since December 2020 and will be staying in your guest room until March 7, 2023. You’ve got a few more months of inquisition so use it to your advantage and allow no-nonsense Saturn to flush out the monsters that have been hiding under your bed and in your head. The Nine of Swords reminds us that our greatest fears can be seen as monsters or muppets. Both the former and the latter have the same thing in common: they just want to be accepted for their true nature, because they cannot mask their true nature. No matter how off-putting or odd they may appear, befriending the characters who come to play in our nightmares can turn the tide in our favor: we begin to see that all that we’ve repressed in ourselves simply wants to be loved and given a comforting pat on the head. You don’t need to tackle this alone. You may wish to ask for help and support from trustworthy resources. Leave the nightlight on, too, just for safekeeping.

Pisces: February 18 – March 19

Six of Wands

Celebrating you this Capricorn season, Pisces, is what you have to look forward to. All the hard work you’ve been putting in is paying off. You’re the center of attention and the recipient of accolades. This might be showing up externally in the form of public recognition, or it may be happening on the inside where you know in your heart of hearts that you’re the best…better than all the rest. It’s not like you, Pisces, to gloat (we could leave that to this season’s favorite goat) though this isn’t about you gloating, it’s about you floating. As the symbolic fish of the zodiac, you are most at home in the boundaryless ocean, free from restrictions and expectations. Your nature is to go with the flow and indeed, all you need to do this Capricorn season is allow the tides of fortune to carry you home.
