It’s been a long time since Union Burger took over the coveted space in Southampton Village and it’s no wonder why they have remained a signature destination in Southampton. The place is just so much fun. It’s always busy with locals, tourists, families, and youngsters enjoying the easy-going scene in a tavern-like setting.
But the real appeal is the mouthwatering burgers and holy moly are they fantastic!
With Union Burger, you really do get a unique burger experience. You’ve never had the combinations that they have come up with before at any restaurant, I guarantee you. Mac and cheese on a burger? Yep, they got that. Coleslaw with a pretzel bun and bacon? Yep, they got that too on a burger. They even give you onion rings if you want them, a rarity these days for some reason.
All of this is for under $20.
It doesn’t end there however, the desserts are sensational too, specifically the milkshakes which come out on beautiful displays of decorated glass cups complete with whipped crème and cherries. And if you want to add a little Baileys or whiskey in there, it’s no problem either.
The keyword for this restaurant is FUN. It’s unlikely that you came for the kale salad, you’re there to get a halibut in reduced sauce, you’re there for a good old-fashioned American hamburger brought to you on a whole other level in a pleasant environment.
If you want to hang out there for the evening with your friends at the bar and talk all night, you can do that too. It’s a great spot, a great time and it’s an always easy answer to the question, “Where do you want to eat tonight?”
