The five female powerhouses will cover everything from ambition to sex to family life to success to what it means to be a woman in today’s workforce and more.
The afternoon will also celebrate the launch of Piazza’s latest novel, Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win, which explores the great lengths it takes for a woman to put their hat in the ring for political office nowadays.
“I wrote my new novel Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win because fiction, television and movies just don’t contain enough ambitious bad ass women who lead,” Piazza reflected. “Americans need to see them.”
Piazza, a bestselling author and longtime journalist, has covered a myriad of topics, including religion, politics, luxury travel, and even the Kardashians.
“That’s why I’m bringing together these incredible women to have a raw and honest conversation about ambition,” Piazza shared. “And what better place to do that than at the beach. Charlotte Walsh is a hero for us all. I can’t wait to bring her to Harbor Books.”
The afternoon will also include the chance to have Piazza sign a copy of Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win.
“Harbor Books is also the perfect place to host the event because its owner, Taylor Berry is an entrepreneurial genius and a bad ass woman in her own right,” Piazza added.
Women Who Like To Win will begin at 12 p.m. and there is no fee to attend.
Harbor Books Sag Harbor is located at 20 Main Street in Sag Harbor.
