Jim Cramer And Bill Ritter To Serve As Auctioneers At Quogue Wildlife Refuge’s “Wild Night For Wildlife”

The Quogue Wildlife Refuge (QWR) will host its 12th annual Wild Night for Wildlife Benefit Gala on Saturday, July 14 at 7 p.m.

The event supports the Refuge’s resident animals and educational programs. “The Benefit Gala is the most significant fundraising event for the Refuge, and is instrumental in allowing the facility to remain open and accessible to all, year-round,” said Refuge Executive Director Michael J. Nelson.

The annual summer gathering has earned the reputation of being the “fun fundraiser” – as the evening includes live music performed by NOIZ, hors d’oeuvres prepared by Justin of Justin’s Chop Shop, Sushi 1 and Keenan’s Oyster Company, desserts by Tate’s Bake Shop and Basic Sugar, Martha Clara Vineyard wines, and Montauk Brewing Company beer.

Live, silent and chance auctions will also be held – with Jim Cramer of of CNBC’s Mad Money and Bill Ritter of ABC7 Eyewitness News sharing the live auctioneer responsibilities.

The most unique part of the fundraiser and a large reason why it carries the “fun” reputation is because guests can get up close and personal with the exquisite resident animals.

“The Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a special place, and I am grateful for all of the support from our community,” added Nelson.

The Wild Night for Wildlife Benefit Gala will be held at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge alongside the historic Old Ice Pond, with access to the awe-inspiring Butterfly Garden and the expansive grounds of the nature preserve encouraged.

Tickets start at $175.

Founded in 1934, the Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 300 acre non-profit nature preserve that is open 365 days a year. Home to an array of wildlife, refuge guests can explore miles of trails where they will find a myriad of habitats, including forests and ponds, as well as the ecologically rare Dwarf Pines in the Pine Barrens.
