The East Hampton Food Pantry is hosting a summer cold plunge event on Wednesday, July 12th, from 7pm tp 9pm at Main Beach in East Hampton. The event is a new addition to the food pantry’s fundraising efforts, and it’s sure to be a lot of fun.
The plunge will take place in the ocean, and the water temperature will be about 65 degrees. This is still a challenge for some people, but it’s not as extreme as a winter plunge. In addition to the plunge, there will be live music by the Julia King Band, raffles, a silent auction, and food.
Tickets for a family of four are $50, and all proceeds will benefit the East Hampton Food Pantry. The food pantry provides food to individuals and families in need in the East Hampton community. Click here to purchase tickets.
“We’re excited to host this event and raise money for such a worthy cause,” said Darius Narizzano, a board member of the East Hampton Food Pantry. “We hope to see everyone there!”
Gina Bradley, another board member of the food pantry, said that the event is a great way to get people together to have some fun and support a good cause. “It’s going to be a great day,” she said. “We hope to see you there!”
