One of the tastiest Hamptons collaborations of the year will take place on Friday, April 27 when Taste of Tuckahoe takes over 230 Elm. The annual benefit for Tuckahoe School showcases local restaurants, bakeries, breweries, and wineries that will provide a delectable signature from their establishment, or something created especially for the event.
“Taste of Tuckahoe continues to be one of the most highly-anticipated events of the spring season, and one whose proceeds greatly benefit our school, students, and staff,” shared PTO Co-Secretary Kathy Grigo.
The fundraiser will commence with a special VIP hour at 6 p.m. that offers first access to the incredible bites and sips, as well as the chance to peruse the Chinese and Silent auctions. At 7 p.m., those with general admission tickets will join the party.
The 2018 soiree features the return of many favorites, including 230 Elm, The Blue Duck Bakery Cafe, Centro Trattoria & Bar, DeJesus Deli & Grocery, Edgewater Restaurant, The Golden Pear, Hampton Coffee Company, Justin’s Chop Shop, Katie Cakes & Confections, Krieg’s Bakery, M&M Market, North Sea Tavern & Raw Bar, Palmer Vineyards, Paul’s Italian Restaurant, Saaz, Sabrosa Mexican Grill, South Fork Deli, Suki Zuki, Townline BBQ, Twin Fork Beer Co. and Union Cantina. Attendees can also look forward to a few new additions: Hampton Farms and Montauk Brewing Company.
“Every year we have a bigger turnout than the year before, and we are so grateful to all of the local businesses, restaurants, wineries, and breweries for their support, as well as all of those that attend the event,” Grigo added. “We can’t wait for April 27!”
Taste of Tuckahoe was founded in 2011. The highly anticipated event is always well attended with residents and visitors jumping at the chance to taste their way across the East End under one roof.
In addition to experiencing the flavors of the Hamptons, the event features a photo booth and music by DJ Chris Cenzoprano.
Tickets are $35 in advance for general admission, $45 at the door for general admission, and $65 for VIP entrance. Advanced tickets can purchased at Southrifty Drug (54 Jagger Lane, Southampton) or online. Proceeds from Taste of Tuckahoe will be used towards enhancing the education of Tuckahoe School students.
