On Wednesday, November 8, spice up the middle of your week by joining Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) at Almond in Bridgehampton from 6 to 8 p.m. for CMEE’s beloved Fall Ladies Night benefit.
“Our Fall Ladies Night is not just a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of friends both new and old,” said Steve Long, the Museum’s president, “but the money raised supports our educational outreach efforts throughout the East End community.”
Hosted by Amalie Bandelier, Lilly de la Motte, Alden Fenwick, Lisa Herbert Winter, Janice Hummel, January Kerr, Marlene Markard, Joyce Mullins-Jackson, Alicia Murphy, Mia Nevado, Rebecca Rosenberg, Dana Stern, and Margaret Whelan, the fabulous soiree will include tasty sips, a spectacular auction with items from Harbor Market, Lexington Company, Naturopathica, Sea Tow, SHAN Swimwear, the Maidstone, and Warren Tricomi, amazing raffle prizes from local businesses, and more.
“My daughter (and the offspring of most of our clientele for that matter) basically grew up at CMEE,” explained Jason Weiner, Almond Owner/chef. “We are psyched to stay involved with this amazing crew!”
Proceeds from the Fall Ladies Night will support CMEE’s mission of “sparking imagination and fostering learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities and to build strong connections within the East End community by providing playful experiences.” Funds will help provide books for Cantemos, the Museum’s family literacy program for Spanish speakers, materials for Ciencia en CMEE, the Museum’s science program for Spanish speaking families, facilitate school trips to the Museum by students from childcare centers located in underserved communities throughout the East End, and more.
“We’re grateful to Almond for hosting us this year and can’t wait for an incredible evening,” added Long.
Tickets to Fall Ladies Night begin at $40 (in advance).
