Enjoy one of the last weekends of summer on the lawn of the 1843 Rogers Mansion while also supporting the Southampton Historical Museum’s education programs at the Museum’s Late Summer Cocktail Party. Hosted by Marge Sullivan, chairperson of the board of trustees, and Peter Hallock, museum advisor, the annual soiree will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Partygoers will nosh on tasty hor d’oeuvres from The Golden Pear, sip on refreshing cocktails and drinks courtesy of Herbert & Rist Liquor, and dance to music from DJ Twilo.
“A welcome development in our party scene is an increase in young people attending,” explained Tom Edmonds, Executive Director of Southampton Historical Museum. “DJ Twilo plays a wide breadth of music from Cole Porter to EDM (electronic dance music). Also, where in the Hamptons can you go to a fundraiser, with an open bar and an abundance of appetizers, at these price? Who can resist?”
