“While many people know of Michael Loeb’s business success, philanthropy, and beautiful homes, not many are privy to the fact he is also an excellent chef,” said CEO/Founder of SALIDO, Shu Chowdhury. “This event was inspired by Michael’s unbelievably delicious ribs and the fact that they could stack up against any acclaimed chef.”
Chef Jonathan Waxman is hosting the Chefs Care Barbeque event that will feature over 20 of New York City’s most celebrated chefs battling over BBQ dishes. The notable chefs include Chefs Alex Guarnaschelli, Franklin Becker, Floyd Cardoz, Justin Smilie, Marco Canora, Maria Loi, Ralph Scamardella, and more.
Guests will enjoy refreshing cocktails, have the opportunity to participate in an auction and revel in music from DJ Politik.
“We’re gathering New York’s best chefs at Michael’s beautiful Hamptons beachside estate to offer guests amazing BBQ, including his superb ribs, while raising awareness and funds for children’s charities,” said Chowdhury. “We at SALIDO are indebted to Michael and are extremely honored to co-host the Chefs Care BBQ.”
Tickets to Ribs for Kids start at $400.
Ribs for Kids will be held at 1610 Meadow Lane in Southampton. For more information, call 516-650-6121 or visit chefscarebbq.com.
