Take A Hamptons Culinary Journey During Taste Of Tuckahoe

On Friday, April 28th, it’s time to eat your way through the East End when the Tuckahoe School PTO presents the 7th annual Taste of Tuckahoe. Taking place at 230 Elm in Southampton, over 20 restaurants, bakeries, wineries and breweries – spanning from Greenport to East Hampton – will offer up culinary delights that will supremely satisfy all attendees.

“We are so happy to be bringing Taste of Tuckahoe to the community for a seventh straight year,” shared PTO Co-Secretary Kathy Grigo. “It is amazing to us that this event continues to grow and generate new attendees, and we are beyond grateful that we can take the money earned from the event and use it to help benefit the students at Tuckahoe School.”

From 7 to 10 p.m., partygoers can test out a signature dish or drink from each establishment. A special VIP Hour, with an open bar and early access to the food and drinks, will take place from 6 to 7 p.m.

Taste of Tuckahoe participants will include 230 Elm, Edgewater Restaurant, Palmer Vineyards, Saaz, Krieg’s Bakery, Townline BBQ, Scotto’s Italian Pork Store, Little Red, Twin Fork Beer Co, North Sea Tavern & Raw Bar, DeJesus Deli & Grocery, Sabrosa Mexican Grill, Hampton Coffee Company, Union Cantina, Centro Trattoria & Bar, Kim’s Cookie Company, Justin’s Chop Shop, Vines & Branches, Village Gourmet Cheese Shoppe, Katie Cakes & Confections, Golden Pear Cafe, Manna, Insatiable EATS, South Fork Deli, Southampton Publick House, Suki Zuki, and Paul’s Italian Restaurant.

And, in addition to the irresistible bites and sips, the benefit will also feature Chinese and Silent Auctions with items donated by local businesses that you’ll find hard not to want to win them all.

The spring tasting event – that brought out over 400 people in 2016 – offers the unique chance to nosh on bites from several East End favorites while they’re all under the same roof, which is certainly a rarity. Event organizers expect this year’s benefit to have an even bigger turnout than last year’s.

Proceeds from Taste of Tuckahoe will support the children of Tuckahoe School, and will be used toward enhancing the education of all students.

“We hope to see everyone there on Friday, April 28,” added Grigo.

Regular admission tickets to Taste of Tuckahoe are $35 in advance, and $45 at the door, and VIP tickets are $60. Tickets can be purchased at Southrifty Drug (54 Jagger Lane, Southampton), from committee members, or online.
