Spend even five minutes with Toni Campo and Jeremy Johnson of the Camp-Johnson Team and you’ll understand why they’re making a splash in Hamptons real estate. They’re everywhere—from beachside showings in Montauk to village strolls in Sag Harbor—and always seem to bring a certain lightness and energy wherever they go. Their vibe? Effortlessly in sync, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. Whether it’s their complementary backgrounds in healthcare and construction or their tag-team approach to navigating both the emotional and financial sides of real estate, their dynamic just works.
What’s your best advice for someone buying their first Hamptons home?
Do your homework and work with professionals like us who are local experts. The Hamptons market is unique – it can vary greatly from one village or hamlet to another in terms of pricing, rental potential, and lifestyle.
What has your experience with Saunders been like?
Joining Saunders has been truly transformative for both of us. The firm’s reputation, marketing, and network have opened opportunities we might not have accessed otherwise. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment has accelerated our growth both professionally and personally. We feel fortunate to be Saunders agents.
How do your individual strengths complement one another?
We feel our individual strengths complement each other really well. We share a similar working style and approach to problem-solving, which makes collaboration easy and fun, but we understand that we each bring our own uniqueness to the team. Jeremy is more data-driven—focused on analytics, strategy, and details—while I am more of a people person, with a strong focus on communication and interpersonal relationships. Together, we like to think we create a dynamic where emotional intelligence meets analytical thinking. This balance allows us to approach challenges from both a people-centered and results-focused perspective.
How do your backgrounds in healthcare and construction/investment shape the way you guide clients through a transaction?
We feel our previous backgrounds prior to real estate lend us both to taking a real hands-on approach with our clients. As for me, the medical field has equipped me with the ability to be an active listener, and I feel it undoubtedly has given me the ability to navigate high-stress situations with compassion and care. Jeremy’s experience in construction led him to develop a sharp eye for detail, quality, and value. He can walk into a home and assess potential issues or opportunities others may miss.
How do you help buyers and sellers navigate the emotional side of real estate while still staying focused on their goals?
Navigating the emotional side of real estate is just as important as handling the logistics. Buying or selling a home often comes with big life transitions—new jobs, growing families, downsizing, or, in some cases, experiencing a loss. We both always start by listening carefully to our clients’ stories, concerns, and motivations.
Understanding the “why” behind their move helps us keep them grounded and focused when emotions run high. Offering our clients true compassion along with a strategic mindset is the way to help them manage the potential ups and downs they may face while keeping their end goal in sight.
What are three items always in your Hamptons beach bag?
Sunglasses—because no Hamptons day is complete without a little sun and style. Sunscreen, always—we’re religious about protecting our skin out here. And lip balm with SPF is a must; sun-kissed lips are great, but sunburned? Not so much.
Do you two enjoy the same hobbies, or is free time when you do your own thing?
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys time at the gym and working on cars and miscellaneous projects.
I like beach walks, trail hikes, and bike rides.
