Southampton Cultural Center (25 Pond Lane, Southampton, southamptonstringsfestival.com) will host the Southampton Strings Festival February Workshop from Monday, February 20th through Wednesday, February 22nd. Led by the talented Jessi Tortorice, attendees will have the chance to work with violin faculty from the international boho4 string quartet of Belgium during three days of intensive violin playing and chamber music.

Bay Street Theater (1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor, www.baystreet.org) will present a School Vacation Theater Camp from Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th, where participants will team up with a teaching artist to create and perform their very own musical. Students will develop their own script, learn standard songs and choreography, and debut their works on the Bay Street Mainstage on Friday for family and friends.
Parrish Art Museum (279 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, parrishart.org) will present a Winter Vacation Art Workshop for children ages 4 to 6-years-old and another workshop for ages 7-years-old and over that will include creative workshops and visual arts. Classes will be held Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th.

Students will will embark on a journey to Treasure Island during Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s (76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, www.whbpac.org) School Vacation Musical Theatre Camp. In just five short days, attendees will rehearse and then star in the beloved production. Missoula Children’s Theatre directors, alongside highly-acclaimed WHBPAC Teaching Artists, will help students prepare and teach thespians about theatre, music, improvisation, and movement. The camp will be held from Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th.
Winter School Recess Programs at the South Fork Natural History Museum (377 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, sofo.org) will cover Winter Wonderland Walk in Vineyard Field with Melanie, Winter Backyard Birds in Vineyard Field with Xylia, Winter Weather & Snowflakes in Vineyard Field with Eleni, Winter Tracks & Snow Clues in Vineyard Field with Ashley, and Winter Plant Walk in Vineyard Field & Plant Printmaking with Crystal. SoFo’s workshops will take place Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th.
Long Island Aquarium (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.longislandaquarium.com) will hold a Winter Break Fun-Cation, featuring tours of the Aquarium, including the Butterflies, Bugs & Birds exhibit, feed the sting rays, check out the Sea Lion Show, visit the Arcade, watch a movie, make a craft and more, from Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th.
Children’s Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, www.cmee.org) will introduce its first ever Engineers Week, which will take place Monday, February 20th through Sunday, February 26th. The programming will include Straw Rockets, Make Your Own Crayons, Paper Structures, Lego Zip Line Challenge, Tin Foil Boats, and Lego Cranes.

East End Arts (141 East Main Street, Riverhead, eastendarts.org) will hold a February Break Visual Arts Immersion Workshop, for ages 8 to 12-years-old, Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th. The four day workshop will be led by Barbara Imperiale, whose mission is to “teach, inspire, challenge, and encourage students’ inner creativity.”
Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton, southamptonartscenter.org) will hold a trio of exciting classes. From Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th, children 4 to 7-years-old are invited to learn how to make their own puppets during Puppet Making & Puppeteering with puppeteer Liz Joyce. Art will meet science during a Winter Vacation Workshops with Cornell Cooperative Extension, which will also take place from Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th. Art instructor Carolyn Munaco will partner with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Marine Educator Rachel Neville for the unique sessions. Finally, from Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th, students can channel their creative side as they make own interpretation of a “funky fish” and other interesting subjects using acrylic paint on canvas during Art Classes with Carolyn Munaco.
