Healthy Guru, which launched in the Hamptons this past summer, will make its New York City debut on Saturday, October 22nd. One of the most sought after fitness, wellness and fashion event of the fall is set to motivate and educate attendees all-day at the Metropolitan Pavilion. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., some of the world’s most renowned trainers and fitness educators will hold classes, show off their fitness fashion lines, and participate in interviews during Healthy Guru.
Carrie Brudner’s brainchild combines some of the industry’s most established brands in the annual, single-day event. World-class trainers will teach classes including, but not limited to, Bari Studio, BelleonBody taught by Carlos Leon, Bikram Yoga NYC taught by Trish Donegan, who is Lady Gaga’s trainer, and Gotham Gym. West 56 Clothing’s athletic-wear will be featured in a fashion show that begins at 10 a.m. and a panel will follow from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Moderated by Fox News’ Jade Scipioni, attendees will hear from a few of the industry’s leading trainers, including Justin Gelband (trainer to top models, Victoria’s Secret models and Sports Illustrated models), Glen Tobias (nutritionist for the New York Jets) and Gary Goldenberg M.D. (GoldenbergDermatology.com), to name a few.
Alongside the event’s fitness-minded programming will be Lauria Mercier of Laura Mercier Cosmetics and a team of stylists from Angelo David Salon to showcase some of the best makeup and hairstyles to make you feel great and ready to tackle your next workout in style. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Eclipse and the event will also feature a performance from America’s Got Talent star Skylar Katz.
With everything “fitness” from food to fashion, Healthy Guru is not to be missed by all those avid fitness devotees.
Admission to Healthy Guru is free. Classes are $20 per class.
