Sotheby’s is taking over The Surf Lodge Gallery (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, 631-483-5037, thesurflodge.com) to present an exhibition of works by iconic gallerist, and painter Joel Mesler. In collaboration with Cultural Counsel, ten new paintings will showcase the artist’s “idiosyncratic figurative style, filled with irony and wit.” The show will be on view Thursday, July 21st through Thursday, July 28th. The Surf Lodge’s Summer Concert Series will feature Porches and Dreamers on Saturday and Bombino on Sunday.
