East End Local Launches Butler-Tested Non-Toxic Cleaning Products

Earlier this year, a new brand of non-toxic cleaning products, Butlers Brand, launched in the Hamptons. Created by former butler and Hamptons local, Christopher Allen, Butlers Brand is an exciting new option for non-toxic, pet and child safe cleaners that was created, tested, and passed around by professional butlers, and will now be available for sale.

“I’ve been a butler for more than 20 years in some of the world’s most demanding households,” said Chris Allen, author of A Butler’s Life and owner of A Butler’s Manor Bed & Breakfast in Southampton. “Everybody wants a ‘green’ cleaner, but the problem is not all of them work, and the staff ends up using twice as much solution.” But, that’s not the case for this “green” cleanser. “Butlers Brand is one of the only natural cleaning concentrates I use,” Allen said. “I like the universal concentrated cleaner because it works the first time and reduces the amount of cleaners we purchase, thus minimizing the waste our household creates.”

The products are available three Hamptons locations, Fork & Rose in Water Mill, Southampton Farmer’s Market in Southampton (May through October), and A Butler’s Manor Bed and Breakfast in Southampton, which is owned by Butlers Brand founder Chris Allen and his wife.

Butlers Brand boasts its use of a pH-neutral formula, which is fine in both hard and soft water and safe for any hard surface in a home, that won’t degrade indoor air quality. Additionally, the brand works towards removing consumers from the waste cycle of single-use plastics by selling its products in concentrated refill packages and a reusable atomizer spray bottle, as opposed to a typical spray-canister that gets thrown out after its done, helping to reduce waste and save money.
