The Hamptons simply would not be the Hamptons without its pristine, award winning beaches. So, while Hamptons.com already offers a live stream from one of the East End’s most popular beaches, we decided that it was time to offer views of yet another beloved beach.
In mid-July Hamptons.com launched our Main Beach Camera, which provides a scenic view of Main Beach in East Hampton. “Our visitors love the Cooper’s Beach Cam in Southampton, so I thought why not have one in East Hampton as well,” Hamptons.com Publisher Joe Kazickas explained.
The new camera would not be possible without the generous help of East Hampton Village. “I reached out to Becky Molinari, the East Hampton Village Administrator, she floated it by the Village Trustees who gave us the green light,” noted Kazickas. “Now you can visit East Hampton Main Beach from anywhere in the world, and compare conditions with Cooper’s.”
“Plus, we wanted a different perspective on the beach, the comings and the goings, not simply duplicating the angle at Cooper’s,” said Kazickas. “These cams appeal to everyone.” The Coopers Beach Cam offers a head-on picture of the Southampton beach, while the Main Beach Cam provides a landscape view of the East Hampton beach.

The collaboration highlights our beautiful scenery. “The Village of East Hampton is thrilled to partner with Hamptons.com to provide visual access to people all over the world to Main Beach,” shared Becky Molinaro, Administrator, Village of East Hampton. “It is exciting to be able to share video and images of the country’s Most Beautiful Beach in 2013, as named by Dr. Stephen Leatherman (aka Dr. Beach).” Main Beach was also honored in 2012, when it earned the third spot on the list.
“We take great pride in keeping our beaches clean, safe and beautiful,” expressed Molinaro. “Thank you Hamptons.com for making this a reality.”
