An old location in Water Mill will be getting some fresh new flavor as Bistro Eté, which means Summer Bistro in French, opened its doors over 4th of July weekend. Located on Montauk Highway, where the old Robert’s Restaurant used to be, Bistro Eté will invite diners to enjoy an innovate French Mediterranean menu throughout the summer.
Owned and headed by Cypriot and French trained Chef Arie Pavlou, the former executive chef of the Bridgehampton Inn & Restaurant, his wife Liz Cordano, and their friend Howard Kreiger, Bistro Eté promises to provide a tasty and diverse menu. Dishes will include Escargot, Striped Bass with Truffle Sauce, and Aged Steaks, to name a few, and will feature flavors from all over the world.
Despite the high-end menu, the restaurant will not be stuffy. The dining room will have an elegant yet relaxed vibe, and will serve dinner 7 days a week. “We are serving exceptional cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable Hamptons atmosphere,” said Cordano. The walls of the historic farmhouse restaurant will be decorated by front end manager, partial owner, and award winning photographer Howard Kreiger’s pictures from his exotic travels in Southeast Asia.
Bistro Eté is located at 755 Montauk Highway in Water Mill. For more information, call 631-500-9065 or visit Facebook.com.
