East Hampton’s Guild Hall is set to present another hilarious comedy this summer. The Underpants, by comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician Steve Martin, is sure to have you laughing out loud. The play, which was adapted from Carl Sternheim, is directed by Bill Fennelly, and will feature Michael Brian Dunn, Marianna McClellan, Tuck Milligan, Daniel Passer, Sabrina Profitt, and Mark David Watson. The cast will come to the Hamptons straight from their critically-acclaimed run at Syracuse Stage, where the production received phenomenal reviews.
The Underpants is set in 1910 Berlin and focuses on the gorgeous, sex deprived wife of a self-righteous civil servant. One day, the wife accidentally drops her underpants, beginning a scandalous uproar.

Plus, there will be beer!”
