Name: Kobi Halperin
Occupation: Fashion designer
Hometown: Netanya, Israel
One area of the Hamptons that excites me is: Anywhere I can see the ocean, feel the breeze, and be close to the water.
My go-to comfort food is: Bagels and cream cheese
When I was growing up, I wanted to be: A psychologist

One spot I always take visitors to is: I love taking visitors somewhere surrounded by nature and water. Whether it’s a quiet beach, a boat ride, or simply a beautiful spot outdoors.
My greatest achievement is: Being a father to my two daughters.
Music that always gets me moving is: Israeli music, because it connects me to my roots and to loved ones who are no longer with us.

My happy place is: Paris. There’s an energy and beauty there that always motivates me to keep designing and creating.
My most treasured possession is: My grandfather’s wedding band. It serves as a constant reminder of my heritage and the generations that came before me.

My favorite fragrance is: Sagit’s, Le Labo, Thé Noir 29

My favorite Hamptons memory is: Making the journey to the Hamptons every summer with my daughters and watching them grow into the incredible young women they are today.

A show I recently binge-watched is: Below Deck. It’s the perfect way to completely switch off after a busy day.

My favorite look to wear around town is: When summer arrives and I can swap pants for shorts and slip into my Birkenstocks, I’m the happiest person ever.
One event out here I look forward to all summer is: Presenting my summer collection is always one of the highlights of the season. I was especially excited to return to The HUB earlier this month to share it.
My guilty pleasure is: Watching completely unnecessary TV shows that allow me to disconnect and unwind.
My catchphrase is: “Just say you’re right, Kobi.”
I would like to be remembered as: A good father, a kind person, and a designer who always put his customer first. If I can leave behind a legacy of kindness, beauty, love, and connection, I would consider that a life well lived.
