2015 has been a breakout year for Amy Schumer. The comedienne seems to be everywhere nowadays, and while we already know she’s absolutely hilarious, you might be surprised to find out which Hollywood superstar the “Trainwreck” actress went on vacation with this summer.
On Monday, August 3rd, Schumer stopped by Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” where she dished about a recent trip to the Hamptons, which included a last minute addition, actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Schumer, a Long Island native, takes a yearly vacation with her high school friends and after basically being banned from Martha’s Vineyard following last year’s trip (no one would rent a house to them), the group needed to find somewhere else to go. Stewart just had to find out what Schumer and her entourage did to deserve the banishment, but the actress wouldn’t spill the details. That’s “none of your business,” Schumer jokingly responded.
They settled on the Hamptons, and Schumer threw out a last minute invite to The Hunger Games star, and to the comedienne’s surprise and delight, Lawrence was available and wanted to go. “I love her,” Schumer gushed about Lawrence. “She’s the coolest chick you’ll ever met.”
After finding out the surprise guest was definitely coming, she told her friends and filmed their reactions, which obviously included a lot of screaming. I mean who wouldn’t be psyched to hang out with J.Law?

The Hamptons jaunt included some water activities like jet skiing, to which Schumer was going to take the reins and drive, but said Lawernce just wasn’t having it. She was like “‘no I’m Hunger Games,‘” Schumer told Stewart. The group also showed off their balancing skills by making a human pyramid.
It definitely sounded like the girls trip was a blast, but Schumer was not thrilled her social media photos from the vacation went viral. “She’s like the last person you want to be next to,” Schumer said about the Dior model. “I look her coach in all the pictures. I look like I’m telling her to take a knee.”
Now that we know the hilarious actresses are friends, we hope to see them together on the big screen someday soon.
