Whether you want to take a selfie with Santa during Christmas in July or embrace the summer sunshine during an American Summer Riviera themed beach and boat bash, here’s what’s happening this weekend in the Hamptons.
The Montauk Beach House’s (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-668-2112, thembh.com) “Celluloid Under the Stars” weekly summer film series, in collaboration with luxury bedding purveyors Parachute Home, will have a screening of “After Hours” on Thursday at 7 p.m. Griffin Dunne, the star of the film, will be on hand for a Q & A. Art Meets Fashion Part 2 during A Poolside Social at MBH on Saturday. “Time Out” Magazine will host the poolside social Summer Set with Herradura. The afternoon (from 1 to 7 p.m.) will feature new mixes and a few old favorites from The Coco Bros trio and a visit from the Haiku Guys, who will post up on site and type personal haikus for all that are interested. On Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m., it’s an Afternoon Delight with music from DJ Jack Luber and shopping at GirlTauk’s pop-up shop with clothing, jewelry and more.

Duquette Johnston is headlining the Ilegal Music Series at The Surf Lodge (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, 631-483-5037, thesurflodge.com) on Thursday. Catch Leon Bridges on Saturday, and end the weekend with a double dose of music from Psychic Twin and Sylvan Esso on Sunday.
Join Miansai, a Miami-based handmade accessories brand, on Thursday and Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Topping Rose House (1 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, 631-537-0870, www.toppingrosehouse.com) for Après Beach offerings. The relaxed afternoons will include cocktails on the porch, rounds of corn hole on the lawn, and the chance to check out Miansai.

On Thursday, the Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-3117, stephentalkhouse.com) will have The English Beat at 8 p.m. and The Pandemics at 10 p.m. Friday features Buckwheat Zydeco at 8 p.m. and The Wild Ones at 10:30 p.m. On Saturday, it’s Hayes Carll (solo) at 7 p.m., Lead of Foxes at 9 p.m. and The Wild Ones are back at 11 p.m. Catch Lynn Blue and the International Men of Mystery on Sunday at 8 p.m., followed by Reggae Night with Majestic Band at 10 p.m. Monday brings Open Mic Night at 10 p.m. and Tuesday showcases a performance from Fred Raimondo with The Dark Heart Tavern Band and special guests at 8 p.m., followed by Industry Night with a live band and DJ at 10 p.m.
As per usual, The Backyard at Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) will have Reggae favorite Winston Irie and the Selective Security Band on Thursday at 8 p.m. Friday starts with Lynn Blue Band at 7 p.m., followed by DJ Faze at 10 p.m. DJ Faze is back on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., and again at 8 p.m. Wrap the weekend up with a Jazz and Bosso Nova Brunch with music by Ludmilla and Marcello from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Whether you want to come by sea and anchor your boat in Fort Pond Bay (41° 02′ 45.11″ N, 71° 57′ 44.8″W), or arrive via land, attendees will enjoy a weekend filled with seaside DJ sets, live music and more.
