Last year, it was the summer of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian. Could 2015 be the summer of Prince William and Kate Middleton?
Rumors are swirling about a possible move to the Hamptons for Prince William, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. First reported by OK!, the story was quickly refuted by GossipCop.com and CelebrityDirtyLaundry.com.
“They’ve sent one of their advisors over to consult with real estate brokers, and they’ve narrowed the search down to a few different properties,” a royal source told OK!. “Now they’re just going through the formalities.” OK! says the Royal Family plan to live in the U.S. part-time this summer, and will be settled by July.

This would mark the second trip to America, within a year, for Prince William and Kate Middleton. The couple visited the U.S. last December. Staying at the glamorous Carlyle Hotel in New York City, a favorite of William’s late mother, Princess Diana, their tour included a reception with Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton for wildlife conservation and a Brooklyn Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA game. The couple, who took the trip sans Prince George (Kate was pregnant with Princess Charlotte at the time), also did a little traveling by themselves. Prince William headed to Washington, D.C. for a White House meeting with President Obama, while Kate Middleton visited Northside Center in Harlem.
So, while for now, it’s not clear whether we’ll see the British Royal Family in the Hamptons this July, we know we’d sure enjoy a sighting. With Princess Eugenie currently living in New York City and Princess Beatrice reportedly moving to NYC soon, maybe they’ll all take a family vacation to the East End.
