Anyone who has seen “The End” knows that James Franco throws a pretty memorable party, until that pesky apocalypse happens. If you don’t happen to hangout with Seth Rogen, John Hill, Judd Apatow, or run in the actor’s Hollywood circle of friends, scoring an invite to a Franco bash is highly unlikely, unless you have a little help.
BidKind, an online charity auction platform, is offering one lucky philanthropist the chance to join the Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee during a private dinner party, in honor of the donors of Franco’s IndieGoGo campaign. Proceeds from the BidKind auction will benefit The Art of Elysium, an organization committed to enhancing the lives of artists and hospital youth.
“We are thrilled to partner with James Franco on another unique auction experience benefiting his charity of choice, LA based, The Art of the Elysium,” expressed Herve Larren, Founder and CEO of BidKind.
This is the second time The Art of Elysium and BidKind have teamed up. In 2014, BidKind held a soft launched with experiences that included meeting James Franco at an advanced viewing of his film, “Child of God,” followed by an intimate dinner party.
“The first experience we auctioned off with James was one of the most unforgettable moment for the winner and his guest,” noted Larren. “We are excited to partner again and raise even more funds for his charity of choice.”
Other BidKind auctions have included backstage passes to meet No Doubt, Hugh Jackman and Carrie Underwood at the 2014 Global Citizens Festival benefiting Global Poverty Project.
The Art of Elysium is committed to making art a catalyst for social change and enhancing the lives of the artists and hospital youth through creativity and inspiration. The organization provides workshops in music, fashion design, theatre/media arts, fine arts, and arts based self-esteem.
The auction ends on Thursday, April 23rd.
