On Saturday March 14th at 8 p.m., archivist Joe Lauro is hosting a cinematic evening at Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts featuring some of the funniest moments that have taken place over the past 100 years.
From the days of Music Hall and Vaudeville to the “little screen” of the 1950s-70s, “Legends of Comedy Film” will have viewers in stitches as they watch rare clips of comedy geniuses. The screening includes skits and performances by Joan Rivers, Carol Burnett, Rodney Dangerfield, Phyllis Diller, Abbott & Costello, George Carlin, Totie Fields, Myron Cohen, Jackie Mason, Smith & Dale, Senor Wences, Henny Youngman, Pat Cooper, The Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields and more.
