“The World Goes ‘Round,” a special showcase featuring the works of songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb, will take Center Stage at the Southampton Cultural Center’s Levitas Center for the Arts, from Thursday, October 23, 1014, to Sunday, November 9, 2014.

Under the direction of Michael Disher and the musical direction of Karen Hochstedler, the show will include everything from love lyrics to witty songs from Kander and Ebb’s Broadway shows like “Chicago,” “Kiss of the Spiderwoman,” “Cabaret,” “Woman of the Year,” “The Red Menace,” and “Flora.”
The production of “The World Goes ‘Round,” which won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical, will showcase “All That Jazz,” “The Money Song,” “Me and My Baby,” “It’s a Quiet Thing,” “I Don’t Remember You,” “Maybe This Time,” “New York, New York,” which was made famous by Frank Sinatra, and many other hit songs.
The Southampton Cultural Center’s show will feature Richard Adler, Isabel Alvarez, Holly Marie Dunn, Sharon Mulvaney, Jaclyn Randazzo, Mary Sabo, Jack Seabury, Kyle Sherlock, Josephine Wallace and Edna Winston.
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. General admission is $25 and student admission, for guests under 21, is $12.
