To kick off the holiday weekend, Sarah Jessica Parker enjoyed a meal with her children and a few friends on the patio at Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton on Friday night. Later in the evening, Alec Baldwin stopped by for dinner with a group of 14 after the Hamptons International Film Festival Summer Docs Series screening of “The Overnighters” at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
Grand Prix Sunday at The Hampton Classic brought out droves of celebs and equestrian fans. A casual Jennifer Lopez was spotted sitting front row watching the action and doting on her adorable children. Other attendees in the VIP tent included Katie Couric and husband John Molner, Mary-Kate Olsen and boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and wife Judy, Gayle King, James Lipton, Georgina Bloomberg, Nick Loeb, Jill Zarin, Beth Stern, and Countess Luann de Lesseps. Matt Lauer stopped by the VIP and was also spotted watched his 10-year-old daughter, Romy, compete. The young Lauer wasn’t the only notable name who competed. Mary-Kate Olsen participated in two rounds at the Classic and Georgina Bloomberg also took part in the equestrian event.
Sir Paul McCartney dined at Nick & Toni’s in the front room with wife Nancy Shevell on Sunday night. The couple sat across from Patty Newburger, who was celebrating her birthday and shared a slice of her cake with McCartney. Lorne Michaels and John Alexander also dropped by on Sunday night for a drink and to say goodbye to the end of the summer.
