Bridgehampton Half-Marathon Donates $20,000 To Hamptons Organizations

Proceeds from the first annual Bridgehampton Half-Marathon have allowed for donations of $10,000 to be made to two Hamptons organizations. Diane Weinberger and Amanda Moszkowski of Hamptons Marathon, Inc., and their partner Matt Linick of Running Away, Inc. presented checks valuing $10,000 to both the Bridgehampton Museum and the Southampton Hospital.

The primary sources of donations were from race fees from 1,200 registered runners as well as the support of the Hamptons Marathon primary sponsors. Sponsors included Jet Blue and Bridgehampton National Bank as well as local partners, friends and volunteers.

The sold out marathon took place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Beebe Windmill venue in Bridgehampton. The 2nd annual event is currently being discussed and scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2015.
