Rumors are swirling that Long Island’s own Lindsay Lohan might serve her court mandated three month rehab in the Hamptons at Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, just minutes from the Hamptons hottest nightclubs. The stay is part of the plea deal Lohan accepted in a “misdemeanor car crash case” which saved her from serving time in jail.
Lohan, who stopped by “Late Night with David Letterman” on Tuesday, April 10, confirmed she will be starting her stint in rehab on Thursday, May 2. While speaking with Letterman about her struggles with addiction, Lohan revealed she considers rehab “a blessing.”
While Seafield, a 90-bed inpatient treatment facility, is not a locked facility, once patients are admitted they are restricted to remain on the grounds. If Lohan does leave, it would be considered a violation of probation and likely lead to time in jail.
Only time will tell if Lohan’s stint in rehab will help leave her troubled times in the past.
