The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center is hosting a community yard sale in support of the Center’s Food Pantry, which has seen unprecedented numbers seeking assistance since the start of the pandemic.
“I am so delighted that during these trying times, we can come together for The Center’s Food Pantry. Boy, do we need to show the love, and that WE CARE. Especially for our Center families and our community,” Bonnie Michelle Cannon, Executive Director, noted.
On Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., an array of exciting items – including furniture, household goods, dishes, games, small appliances, clothing, and much, much more – will be available for sale in support of the Center’s vital efforts.
“Your support helps us to CARE for those in need. Our food pantry that Pre COVID served 70 individuals monthly, is now serving 700 each week!” Cannon added. The Center has also given out 43 emergency assistance checks to families in need and continued to provide educational and enrichment programs.
