Pre-COVID dining and shopping tendencies are long gone and many of us have learned to embrace the “new normal”, meaning socially distanced, technology-based experiences. Over the last few months, Coronavirus has challenged companies across the United States to find innovative ways to keep themselves in business. The most interesting, and perhaps impressive way companies have kept the cash flowing has been by intertwining tech into aspects of the shopping and dining experience we would have never imagined before.
Bandit, a digital coffee startup based out of New York City, was one step ahead of everyone else pre-COVID, utilizing technology to make ordering coffee quick and easy, helping customers save time by eliminating waiting in line.
“Best of all, Bandit is the first mobile-app only coffee shop in the US. Since our founding, we’ve been focused on creating a memorable and seamless order ahead and pickup experience,” Max Crowley, founder of Bandit, explained. “With COVID-19, this type of experience has become essential and we aim to serve our customers delicious drinks, at the touch of a button, with limited in-store interaction. We’re also testing curbside pickups, and we’ll continue to do whatever we can to make the full experience seamless.”
This summer, Bandit is bringing its services to the Hamptons, launching a pop-up store in Water Mill at 670 Montauk Highway.
“We’re incredibly excited to be launching in Water Mill. We know that many folks have traveled out that way for the summer, and we hope that Bandit can become part of their everyday coffee, matcha & breakfast needs,” Crowley noted. Bandit has partnered with F&B brands Iris Nova, a tech-beverage distribution platform, and CORE Foods, an organic, plant-based, probiotic oat bar. Going beyond coffee, this pop-up will sell carefully curated goods for Hamptons clientele, including high end food, beverage, beauty/wellness, and fashion products.
Order your coffee, tea, fresh juices, and more on the Bandit app before picking up your order inside or curbside. Coffee has never been so easy to order or tasted so good.
