Now in its 12th year, the goal of P.S. I Love You Day is to raise awareness about bullying and suicide – and also promote kindness. Hampton Bays Middle Schoolers took part in a variety of activities, such as engaging in classroom discussions and helping design an “I am” wall featuring positive messages.

In continuing its mission to foster a culture of kindness, Hampton Bays Middle School participated in P.S. I Love You Day, an initiative where students took part in a variety of activities on February 12

Wearing purple to stand up against bullying, help end depression and prevent suicide, students actively engaged in classroom discussions and helped design an “I am” wall featuring positive messages. Students also purchased love buttons and bracelets as part of a fundraiser for Joe’s Project, an organization dedicated to suicide prevention
