With the support of Father Alex and his team of volunteer parishioners, close to 7,000 vaccinations have been administered at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons. “Our Church Family in the Hamptons is honored to serve as a vaccination site for Stony Brook Medicine. Our volunteers were excited and honored to work with the dedicated medical professionals of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital who offered hope, relief and comfort to our East End neighbors and friends. I still remain moved by the joyous tears of those vaccinated as their greatest fears were immediately erased by these miraculous vaccines,” stated Father Alex.
