Last weekend, Ram’s Head Inn hosted a delicious afternoon of recipes and samplings inspired by “Stirring the Pot”, the New York cookbook by Les Dames D’Escoffier, the international organization of women culinary leaders.

About 80 foodies were treated to a host of decadent, aphrodisiac specialties. On the menu: magical cocktails with Meryl Rosofsky; oyster-shucking secrets from guru Kim Tetrault with Peeko Oysters; North Fork wines from Robin Epperson-McCarthy of Saltbird Cellars wines; caviar tasting with Chiara Carfi of Calvisius Caviar; and cooking demos with Silvia Baldini, featuring roasted garlic lobster & shrimp spaghetti and creamy vegan chocolate mousse.
