Pitbull served as the host for the 41st American Music Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The evening included performances by Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, R. Kelly, Pitbull, Ke$ha, Luke Bryan, Christina Aguilera, and T-Boz and Chilli of ’90s girl group TLC. Taylor Swift took home Artist of the Year while Rihanna was honored with the Icon Award.
