Author Chris Babu Celebrates Debut Novel During Hamptons Soiree

Suri Kasirer and Bruce Teitlebaum hosted a party at their Southampton home to celebrate the launch of “The Initiation,” the debut novel of Southampton resident Chris Babu. It follows the story of a teen math geek in dystopian New York City who enters a test in which he and his comrades must solve puzzles or face death. The young adult book debuted on February 27th from Permuted Press, whose publisher, and East Hampton resident, Anthony Ziccardi and his wife Katherine were in attendance as well.
