
Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce an upcoming benefit event in support of The Butterfly Effect Project. Scheduled for Saturday, February 24th at 7 PM, this event promises an evening of entertainment and philanthropy that aims to make a meaningful impact.
The highlight of the night will be a dazzling performance by THAT MOTOWN BAND, known for their captivating renditions of classic Motown hits. With beloved songs like “Heat Wave”, “Ain’t to Proud to Beg”, “Baby Love”, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, and “My Girl”, guests are in for a treat as they groove to the timeless tunes of artists like Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, The Supremes, and The Four Tops.
Adding to the excitement, the event will feature a 50/50 raffle, providing attendees with the chance to win while supporting a worthy cause. Additionally, a merchandise table will offer a bounty of Butterfly Effect goods for sale, with proceeds directly benefiting the project.
Guests can also indulge in two exclusive signature drinks named “Butterfly Blitz” and “Motown Mojito,” specially crafted for the occasion.
Hosting the festivities will be none other than the Executive Director of The Butterfly Effect, Tijuana Fulford, who will guide attendees through an evening of music, camaraderie, and giving back.
The Butterfly Effect Project is dedicated to creating safe spaces for girls of all socio-economic backgrounds to dream and succeed. By providing them with the necessary tools and support, the organization aims to eliminate obstacles and empower young women to thrive.
In addition to THAT MOTOWN BAND, the event will feature the soulful vocals of Garfield Fleming, a legendary Soul Singing Vocalist who has graced stages worldwide. Joining him is Musical Director Johnny Gale, a Grammy-nominated producer, composer, and guitarist extraordinaire, known for his authentic stylings of classic soul, doo-wop, R&B, blues, and rock.
