"We're bringing another cutting edge show to the Hamptons to challenge the audience out east," said Johannes Vogt.
"From Eric Fischl's expressive realism to Mickalene Thomas's in-your-face presentation to Will Cotton's idealized perfection to the tautness of Jacob Hayes' everyday scene," said co-curator David Kratz.
"I so enjoy this production because it is a total 'locally sourced' performance," shared Sara Jo Strickland.
The show will include a Commercial Fisherman Photo show by Grant Monahan and a fish species art display curated by Scott Bluedorn.
"Fridays on the Porch are a great way for community members and visitors to come together and hear about our rich and wonderful history," said Nancy Remkus.
"The arts are a tremendously powerful medium for connecting people and building bridges towards a deeper appreciation of the personal journeys we all make and challenges we all face," noted Thomas Krever.
"For this special opening, FitzGerald Fine Arts will be showcasing seminal works by contemporary Asian artists," shared Justin Warner.
The series will launch with Songs for Unusual Creatures.
"As an admirer of Dr. Valerie Steele's work, I am thrilled that she is a part of our summer series to discuss how fashion and art echo each other in today's world," said Corinne Erni.
"I still have moments of being nervous and then I look over at my wife and she smiles back at me and everything's fine," Spector told Hamptons.com
