The Sag Harbor Cinema's (SHC) Drive-in series continues at Havens Beach every Sunday night for the rest of the summer brought to the comfort of your car.

"In these challenging times, to illustrate and emphasize the depth and diversity of our local history is more important than ever before. I hope I have done some justice to the Eastville community with this series of paintings," Sabina Streeter stated.
"2020 has already experienced seismic events that are shifting values and shaping our choices as citizens and as creators," David Kratz and Stephanie Roach noted. "Artists and writers are always the antennae of our society, all the more so at a time as challenging as this one."

"By separating us from physical access to the trove of treasures we normally take for granted as accessible at museums and galleries, this unprecedented period of confinement has made us more aware of how much we feed on art history as part of our regular visual and intellectual diet," remarked Alison Gingeras.
"The arts are so crucial, especially at a time like this. I think people forget that the arts are what we turn to when we need an escape or want to express ourselves," said Kasia Klimiuk, East End Arts Teeny Awards Coordinator.
"With around $100 million in fine art available for acquisition, the preview will present a sample of what's to come with the fair's main event opening over Labor Day weekend," Friedman told us.
"To me, the most exciting aspect of this story is the glamour and history of the titular 'Summer House' itself. It's sort of an unexpected setting for a murder mystery, and one I'm sure readers in the Hamptons are familiar with. Hopefully it doesn't freak them out too much…" said Patterson.
"The Hamptons is a city like no other and my work has always sold well there. The 'audience' gets me and the fun, yet sophisticated, tongue in cheek thought bubbles I have my characters speaking, as well as the luxury images that remind people of good times and positive outlooks," said De La Nuez.
