"We need music that's empowering. We need music that is uplifting and relatable and explores heartache, and then the triumph that you can face on the other side," Lilley told us about her new album.
"This program has really been a highlight for me every week because I get to connect with 17 people who have some connection with Bay Street and we get to meet for an hour and be creative," Dooley told Hamptons.com.
"Who could have ever imagined that the road to the re-building and the re-opening of the Sag Harbor Cinema would have included a drive-in phase?" pondered SHC Artistic Director Giulia D'Agnolo Vallan.
"We didn't know what to expect. It is so much more personal than I could ever imagine. I am so excited about this Zoom experience in the future," Galvani Bell told Hamptons.com.
"On a broader level, I'm fascinated by the way history evolves through the accumulation of actions and reactions—in the way complexities are built over time through the accidents that get baked in," Deborah Zlotsky noted.
"I am truly excited about the outdoor acoustic music, intimate theatrical performances, and temporary art installations and video projections that we are planning. I've no doubt this will be one of our most innovative seasons yet, as we approach 90 years of providing joy and relief through the arts," said Andrea Grover, Executive Director of Guild Hall.
"Shirley's work rides on the skin between imagined and real, seducing with its oddness and humble cracks until you can't tell if you're looking up the stairwell or into your own mouth. I felt strongly that this film needed to feel like a Shirley Jackson story," said Josephine Decker.
"It is the least we can do in light of those truly putting their lives in the line of fire, so to speak. An honor," Gene Casey, one of the headliners, told Hamptons.com.
"Our first live-stream art workshop attracted more than 70 enthusiastic participants and many shared their work with us on Instagram," said Cara Conklin-Wingfield, Parrish Education Director. "We're so happy to be able to continue providing the community and our members with inspiring workshops that are free of charge or affordably priced."
"One of the loveliest adventures of the year...director Phillip Borsos is able to make this a human story and still keep it exciting as an action picture," Roger Ebert said about The Grey Fox.
